SOCIAL SKILLS TRAINING IN UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

ABSTRACT Intervention programs based on Social Skills Training have been researched in different populations, including university students. This study aimed to review the literature about HST with students, published national and international journals, emphasizing instruments designs used, addition main results limitations, from 1980 onwards. The keywords English “social skills training”, “undergraduate”, “graduate students” “higher education” were used six databases (Capes, ERIC, PHS/RIHS, DOAJ, EBSChost, LILACS, IBICT, WEB OF SCIENCE). Thirteen articles found they analyzed regarding variables of interest by applying PRISMA Protocol. showed that nine studies Inventory as data collection instrument had an experimental design. number sessions was variable among interventions and, all studies, there improvement social repertoire research participants. article contributes area discussing implications for practice promoting education, well directions future should consider concept competence.
